Vegetarians More At The Risk Of Developing Brain Disorders


The food that we eat determines our well- being in the long- term. A diet rich in various minerals, vitamins, protein, iron and calcium is a must for the overall development of the body. But since all these essential nutrients would also be found in the vegetarian food, but still they are said be at a risk of developing brain disorder, according to a study.


The vegetarians are more pre- disposed to developing dementia, amnesia, Alzheimer’s and other other brain- related disorders, primarily due to the deficiency of Vitamin B12. The non- vegetarian food like eggs, meat, fish and even milk are a store- house of Vitamin B12. The deficiency of this vitamin in the body can mar the brain functioning and its development and subsequently resulting in memory loss.


It is also revealed that since a large population in India is vegetarian due to many reasons, they are more likely to suffer from these ailments. According, to the data collected by WHO a large population in India is suffering from brain malfunction. According, to the doctors the diseases can now be diagnosed by just getting a simple blood test done.

Precautions You Can Take To Avoid Migraine


Most of the people in the beginning do not even realize that they have a migraine problem. The moment their head splits in pain they try to take all possible self- medication for the pain to subside. But if this become a regular phenomena, its time you visit the doctors and get yourself examined.

The precautions you can take in case you suffer from a migraine:

The most important and the foremost thing is to visit the doctor and get yourself examined whether its migraine that is causing these frequent headaches.
Avoid foods or anything that might trigger of your migraine.
If you are moving out of your house, make sure you carry the dose of medicines in your bag.
Try and practice Yoga as it is quite helpful in relieving you of these headaches. Concentrate particularly on the your inhaling and exhaling.
If there is some tension mounting anywhere in your body take measures to relieve the tension and try and relax yourself.
Drink copious amount of water.
Take a diet rich in proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables.
